The Situation So Far

The presence of Clan Naga Sadow has done little to calm the unrest within the Orian system. While most of unrest has been limited to snarky media personalities and general murmurings, the brief absence of the Sadowans served as a catalyst. Troop movements have been observed on the surface of the planet Sepros and throughout the system. The time to hide is no longer. The Clan has been publicly revealed by the Consul. He has announced himself as the rightful ruler of the system as the helm of the Naga Sadow clan.

The response from the populace was uneasy. It seemed as though the revelation of a secret government would be of little consequence. This uneasy peace was short-lived.

Suddenly, a series of bombs have been going off in the cities, causing the disruption of power stations and holonet transmitters. Elements of the Warhost have been dispatched to restore order, prompting dissent from the populace.

Participation

Each individual will earn five points per event they participate in. Participation is defined a valid submission for an event. Simply signing up for an event or uploading an unqualified submission will not count. You have to put in the effort in order to receive the reward. Participation will earn 5 points.

Placement

Additionally, the top three individuals in each event will earn placement modifier points.:

First place will earn 4 points, second place will earn 3 points, and third place will earn 2 points, and all other entries will earn 1 point. Events themselves will have modifiers based off their perceived difficulty/level of effort required. For example: the modifier for fiction will be 3, the modifier for gaming/graphics will be 2, and no modifier will be added to puzzle/trivia/flash events.

The top three placements overall for the event will win 2nd level Crescents. Ties will be broken by the comparing the number of placements between members in a tie- so if one member has three 1sts and a third, and another has equal points, but less 1st placements, the tie would break in the first person's favor.

Entries will be used to help shape the exact nature of the ongoing battle against the Collective-aligned and Collective-influenced players in the Orian system. As such, bring some interesting ideas/tales to the table and have some fun with your entries!

Tension in the Empire will be a three week event for Clan Naga Sadow
