You know the most painful thing about betrayal? It never comes from your enemies.

Your Clan's leaders believe that there is a spy among their ranks, an infiltrator from another Clan, or one of your Clan's other enemies. One of your friends, your comrades, has betrayed you - and you have been given the unenviable task of finding out who.

In 500 words or more, tell me how you go about determining which of your allies holds loyalty untrue. How do you investigate? How does your character feel knowing that one of their friends wishes to slip a knife quietly into their back? And most importantly: who is the infiltrator?
