Slicing/Mechanic/Crafting coupled with Jury-rig, Hotfix II and Junker II, this Wookiee knows how to fix just about anything and will probably figure out how to make something dangerous.
Solution, guide the fight to somewhere without materials to tinker with. He seems to be fond of shiny things, so there should be no trouble luring him somewhere else.
Weaknesses
Athletics, Kelviin seems to be lacking in speed and maneuverability. This gives one plenty of time to take all of his toys away. By the time he's done fixing one thing, just break something else.
He wants to be helpful, so play to his tune and ask for help. Keep him busy while planning ahead.
This gray haired giant isn't particularly effective with ranged weaponry. Outranging his Gaderffii Stick or ZAPPY JACK should make it difficult for him to do any damage.
The lack of Perception might make it easier to goad him into traps.
