Objective:
You successfully got your template approved but before they greenlight your movie they want to see a completed script. You now have to write at least the first 20 pages of your screenplay and not more than 120 pages to be approved for filming.
Background:
A screenplay typically equates 1 page to 1 minute of film time. As such, 20 pages is typical for a TV half-hour movie and 120 pages is typically for a featured film. While you do not need to write to a specific page count for this competition this is provided as a recommended length to fully tell your story.
Plot:
Utilizing one of the three themes of the winners of Star Wars Movie Pitch - Get your Movie or TV Show Greenlit! please select from one of the three prompts to write your screenplay.
- A Person Out of Time - You've been found by your Clan frozen in Carbonite and unfrozen. How long you were frozen is left to you to explore but you were frozen against you will and now you must seek to undo the damage done while you were frozen and save the Dark Jedi Brotherhood from certain doom.
- For My Love, I'll Burn the Galaxy - Your significant other has recently been murdered. Enraged, you throw caution to the wind and set off on an epic tale of revenge. Will you burn the galaxy down until everyone who was involved is brought to justice or will something...or someone, cold your anger.
- License to Sith - Despite your day-to-day life, you've been caught up in the world of Intelligence and Secret Operatives. A "McGuffin" has come into your possession and now everyone is out to kill you and capture this "McGuffin". How will you survive, uncover why it was sent to you, and save the day?
Requirements:
- Must be written with your main, alt, or NPC character featured as a main character.
- Clearly identify which prompt you are utilizing.
- Must be written in a screenplay format.
- Minimum 500 words
- Templates: Office 365, Google Docs
- Instructions to create if neither template works with your writing program
Submissions:
Please submit either as a PDF or Word Document through the site. Due to the format requirements submission utilizing the test field will be disqualified as unreadable.

Grading will be done utilizing the Fiction Rubric 2.0.
