You are a Guardian, a bastion of light against the Galaxy's darkness. It is your job to protect those that are unable to protect themselves. The Guardians will always answer the call when someone is in need, and you have received that call. A village has requested aid, and you have been tasked with protecting them by any means necessary.

Write a fiction, at least 500 words, describing how your character protects the village against a threat that is plaguing them. Entries will be graded using the Fiction rubric, with the first and second place winners having their entry added to the history of the Guardian Corps. Entries must also include how the character preps to deal with the threat with other Guardian members.
