You close your eyes and go to sleep, another day having passed and your enemies having been vanquished yet again. Noises through the night awaken you, and you find a ghost before you. A force ghost of a pantsless panda with chains draped over him.

The pantsless panda shows you the darkness and sadness of what is to come, should you continue down the path you are on. That you still have time to change your scrooge ways and set things right. Otherwise, your soul will be forever lost to darkness...like his pants.

In at least 1000 words, write a fiction of your character waking up after this interaction and what happens on Sithmas Day. Do you do things differently than what you had seen them so vividly in your dreams? Or do you go along with them and continue the path that he showed you? Or, if you are truly insane, do you deliberately make things worse than they were like the madman you are?

Will Sithmas be merry for all, or will there be coal? Make your choice.

A qualifying submission is required to be at least 1000 words minimum, with no limit. Submissions that are under 1000 words will be disqualified.

Qualifying entries will be graded using the standard fiction rubric 2.0, and on originality, comedic value, humor.
