Dawn has come on Sithmas Day, but as an essential worker/slave/manager within your Clan, you still must report for duty and go through your day like normal.

On this day, you find that the rhythm of everyone around you isn’t there and production has slipped. In a moment of epiphany, you come up with a space shanty to help restore the rhythmical nature of those around you and get production back on track.

For this event, you are to create a Brotherhood or Clan themed Sea Shanty by textual means. This submission can be a parody of an existing shanty (Such as how Kittyman Sea Shanty is an active parody of the Wellerman Sea Shanty), and must be original in that regard with at least 80% originality.

Submissions found to already have been created in the past, or are a direct copy of an existing shanty from another writer will be disqualified and reported to the Justicar.

Grading will be based on format, adherence to the theme, and rhythmic flow.

She'd not been two weeks from space port
When down on her right, a drone appeared
Revak called all hands and lightsabers
He'd take that drone in tow (huh)

Before the starship hit the asteroid

No lasers were down, no drone was freed
Revak's mind was not of Siths
And he belonged to the Odan-Urr clan
