Von applied this philosophy to more than just the navy. He oversaw the distribution of medical supplies, rations, and ammunition to the various Vizsla combat groups. It was unreasonable to expect the clan to field combat surgeons with every squad deployed, but the supplies could help some injured survive long enough to receive medical attention.

Some commanders would find this work tedious or even droll. Not Von. This small stress was one worth enduring if it would ensure more of his clansmen would return to the drinking halls with tales of their adventure.
