Situation

Your clan's economy has hit a period of inflation and is nearing a depression. In order to help resolve this, you and your team are to deploy on a top secret infiltration operation.

Mission

Write a co-op or solo fiction about about your character's/alt's &/or NPCs' mission of infiltrating a rival clan's possession and pirating it off to your clan for profit. The target of choice can be a Starfighter vessel of high value, an artifact, or even an entire Star System if you are able. The asset must be on your clan of choice's possession roster. It's capture must be done without it leading to war with no ties of suspicion to your clan.

Supporting Factors

You may us as many characters as you want, however when using another player's character it is advisable to ask permission and recommended to provide a snapshot for reference for each character within your submission. Map graphics, even if you aren't the original artist, are helpful for providing an accurate visual for the mind's eye of the reader (me). It won't give you a cluster of graphite, but can be a positive aid in the possibility of placement.

Rules

• Participants must submit entries in .pdf, .doc, or .docx format, or use the submission text field (markdown capable).
• Entries must be a minimum of 500 words per writer (or overall if solo). Any entries that are under 500 words will be disqualified and ineligible for participation or placement. There is no maximum word cap.
• Cooperative submissions must distinguish each writer's shown work for credit (separation of font, text color, etc).
• Your story is encouraged but not required to be centered on one of your dossier characters. A snapshot of the primary character’s loadout must be selected and submitted with your entry via the checkbox submission field on the competition page.
• Entries will be judged using the Voice Fiction Rubric 2.0.
