Overview: Emperor Kamjin “Maverick” Lap’lamiz has issued his edict to bring an end to the Elayan and Nayaman civil war and take control of the system. Standing in your way are the mercenary fleet, ground troops, and assorted factions of the Elayan and Nayaman society warring with each other.
Prompt: This story, given it will run the whole competition, requires three separate parts to be included within your story.
- Set The Stage: Establish where your character is and what they are doing. How have they reacted to the events that occurred within the opening fiction.
- Off To War: War is about making decisions; some will live and some will die. Where is your character going to go? Are they going with the fleet to attack the enemy fleet or are they going to tackle the mercenaries on the ground? Will they go another direction and infiltrate the Elayan or Nayaman governments to topple them from within? This is where your character goes off to fight.
- In The End There Are Two: As your conflict rages on there will come a final conflict. Will you engage with one of the major commanders of the opposing forces. Whether this is an epic standoff on the bridge of your starships to a one-on-one brawl is up to you. You can utilize Liliana Nebulon, Leah Sato, or a previously unknown commander of your own making.
Reference Materials: In addition to the wiki pages for Scholae Palatinae assets you can also reference the Dark Times - Civil War - Reference Guide for details on the main characters, equipment, and political powers.
