Background:

The Council is attempting to work out how much of the fleet should remain to protect the Kiast system while the rest of the fleet turns to war. You have strong opinions on this matter, it’s time to share them with those listening.

Prompt:

Your assignment is to develop a battle plan, on your own, using the fewest Odan-Urr forces as possible to combat the following:

Potential Enemy Fleet:

• 1 Dreadnaught-class Collective a70 Heavy Cruiser
• 2 Lancer Collective-class s20 Frigates
• 2 Strike-class Collective m50 Medium Cruisers
• 2 A/SF-01 B-Wing Starfighter Squadrons

Competition Details:

This is an educational exercise to introduce what a battle plan could look like. In at least 500 words of content, outline your ideas for a defensive plan within the Kiast system and outline your argument for the number of Odan-Urr forces you’ve selected. A combination of text and images is encouraged, but not required. Acceptable formats for this plan include; PDF or .jpg, Powerpoint, or Google Slides. Entries should address the following questions:

1. What Odan-Urr & Vatali forces have you chosen?
2. Why did you choose these specific vessels?
3. What Points of Interest need to be addressed/protected?
4. How will your forces be arranged throughout the system?

Scoring

The top three submissions will earn points as follows:

• 1st- 6 points
• 2nd- 5 points
• 3rd- 4 points
• All valid submissions will also receive two points for participation
