The support of new games is always something to be celebrated. To this end, the Praetor to the FIST is calling a tournament!

I am sure that our Mario Kart 8 players have faced off on many tracks. I am sure some even have an old favorite track, others have a track or two they hate, and then there is Baby Park. The less we say about track, the better.

This tournament will push you to throw down your best on all that Mario Kart 8 has to offer! Each week, a series of tracks will be released for you to run to prove your skill and wits.

The Platform

Mario Kart 8 on the Switch. Members will race through Time Trials on each of the given tracks to demonstrate their prowess on the platform.

Scoring

Individual race performances will be compared to other participants. Rankings will determine the score earned by a driver, in addition to participation points in the following scheme.

1st Place: +4 points

2nd Place: +3 points

3rd Place: +2 points

4th Place: +1 point

Each race entry: 3 points

Ties will be broken by number of 1st placements, second placements, third placements and so on until the tie is broken.
