Objective

The conference of the clans has brought members from many corners of the Brotherhood together in the casino city of Canto Bight on Cantonica. The mixing of clans to this extent has not been seen within the Brotherhood for a number of years, so old rivalries and, perhaps, old alliances can be rekindled. During the conference, will you work together with your fellow Brotherhood members or at cross purposes? Can Jedi trust Sith, Sith trust Mandalorian, even in the face of an uneasy truce at a neutral site? Come together with members of other Clans to tell the story of what your characters are up to during the conference. Your fiction should, at some point, take place in the city of Canto Bight but is not required to start or end at that location.

NOTE: Story updates will be published during the course of the event. Teams will not be advantaged or disadvantaged for not incorporating all of these into their fictions, IE if they write a story that takes place during the events of Week One they will not be penalized for including Week Two or Three plot developments.

Rules

• This is a co-op fiction, meaning two to three (2-3) members will participate in writing a single, cohesive fiction.
• Each writer must contribute at least 500 words total. Outside of minimum word count, there are no other requirements.
• Entries must be submitted in .pdf or .txt format or using the submission box on the Brotherhood website.
  • No GoogleDoc links or .DOC files, please download as a .pdf using "File" -> "Download as" "PDF Document (.pdf)" and submit through the website
  • If your entry is not PG-13, please make sure to hide your entry by unchecking the “Allow people to view your submission after the competition has been judged” box
• Submissions must include word count totals for each member of the team.
• Your story should be centered on your team member's Main or Alternative/NPC characters. DJB Wiki NPCs, or other characters that you create or invent to tell your story are not only allowed but encouraged. However, your narrative should focus around one of your own characters with an active CS.

Teams

• Teams must be made up of two (2) or three (3) people.
• Teams must include members from at least 2 different Clans. I.E. teams may be 2 members from one Clan and 1 from another OR 3 members from 3 different Clans.
• You must identify your team members by name and dossier number at the top of your document along with links to character sheet snapshots for each team member. Any entries not containing snapshots will be given participation credit only.
• You can create and find manual snapshots by going to the "Possessions and Loadouts" link in your admin menu and selecting the "snapshots" tab.

Grading

Grading will be done utilizing the Fiction Rubric.

Note: Only submissions from participating units will be considered valid. Participating units are The Council, Naga Sadow, Odan-Urr, Plagueis, Scholae Palatinae, Taldryan, and Vizsla.
