Vizslan Troops wear Elite Mandalorian Armor. This consists of a raven body glove with raven painted armor clasped over it. Ranking insignia is worn on the left breast as well as the right pauldron with the Vizsla logo embossed with orange paint into the left pauldron.

Troopers each differ slightly with their family clan symbol painted onto the back of their helmet. Red kill stripes can be found on the helmets of veterans while Jaig Eyes are reserved as an honor bestowed upon the most noteworthy of soldiers.

Furthermore, troopers differ with thin orange bands painted vertically across the right side of their chest armor signifying which legion they belong to. Troopers are not only encouraged, but required to keep any cosmetic paint damage, indicating experience.

The troops are equipped with the Galaar-15 blaster rifle, an electrostaff with telescopic handle, a Z6 jetpack and a Westar 35 pistol. Frontline troops wear a mix of the Elite Mandalorian Armor and Neo Crusader Mando armor while the scouts wear the Phoenix Mando armor. All armor is sealed with a limited supply of air and the ability to safely pass through Class III and IV atmospheres from orbit, with slight resistance to electrical and ion storms. The armor colors are a dark grey to allow troops to blend in among vehicles, shadows, and buildings during urban combat. Each trooper carries a commlink, thermal detonator and a Shepard chip. 1 in 4 soldiers carries medical supplies and 1 in 10 soldiers carries mechanics tools and a plasma cutter.
