What are Pirates without a good song to sing? So what if they are in space instead of the seas, there's always room for a good ol' Pirate sea shanty!
Traditional sea shanties were crude, rhythmic, call-and-response songs invented to help sailors complete tasks that required precise teamwork - like hoisting a sail or raising anchor by pulling a line at the same time. The leader, or shantyman, would call out new verses and the crew would respond with a simple, repetitive chorus, pulling in time with the task, e.g:

You are tasked with creating a Sea Shanty for the Saijo Pirate Faction. The kind of song YOU could imagine them singing aboard the Red Sun, Fennyl's flagship.
Your sea shanty must use a call-and-response format as described above.
It must be a minimum of four paragraphs.
The winning entry's Sea Shanty may be used in the Fiction Update for Phase 2!
Placements will be determined by adherence to the formatting. (The call-response.)
How well the shanty fits within the context of the Saijo Pirates.
