We each have a time in our lives where there is a hill we "choose to die on" or a massive obstacle we need to overcome. Our characters are no different.

Write a fiction where your character must overcome a massive obstacle and not go down without a fight; whether it's a battle of wits, brawn, or weapons is up to you.

• All entries must be a minimum of 500 words
• No Google Doc links, download as a PDF and submit
• Acceptable submissions should be in .doc, .pdf, .txt format or submitted using the submission box
• Grading will be conducted using the Voice Fiction Rubric
