Rumor has it that the last few years of Taldryan lore is from Appius' real life mental breakdown. He has been working his way from the depths of greeter at Build A Bear, to a customer service representative and now finally to assistant store manager. The stresses of lower management has begun to get to Appius. He now sees himself as one of many before him, a warrior race protecting these teddy bears. He has recruited the help of one stuffed animal, a small bear he calls an ewok, a reference to a childhood movie. The small bear has been named Teebu, and is responsible for making sure the store to do work list is completed. Appius sits and waits, telling his teddy Teebu of grand tales as they wait for someone to accidentally wonder into Build a Bear.
