The Quaestor of Ludo Kressh is always on the search for the strongest and best members to be her Black Guard. This time she has chosen a competition to see who is the smartest, wisest aspirant with a wit uncompared to everyone else out there.

She retreated for several days, working on question and riddles. Now it is time for you to show how cunning you are. Everyone in both houses of Clan Naga Sadow are allowed to participate.

1.) 32 white horses on a red slope, first they grind, then they stomp and then stand still. What are they? 2.) You are summoned to the summit. The Consul of Naga Sadow gives you a huge bag with precious crystals and gems. You are destined to give them to the Quaestors of Marka Ragnos and Ludo Kressh as a tribute for their work. Unfortunately the consul left it up to you to give the jewels to them "I want my Quaestors to be rewarded equally. It is up to you what kind of amount and which of the jewels you give to each Quaestor". You somehow have to find a way how to divide those precious jewels and gems into two piles without angering the Quaestors, blaming you that the other one got more precious gems. None of the gems are similar and are not to be cut apart for this. Finally you find yourself sitting in a locked room with both Quaestors, eyeing you. And you know you have to choose wiseley or the rage and anger of these two Quastors will hit you - probably meaning your death. What is your decision? (don't try to trick anyone with the force). 3.) The Consul yet again has summoned you. His eyes gaze up into the dark cloth of the night - staring at the stars. "Tell me, how many stars are at the sky?". Ohh, another tricky question. What would be the wisest answer on this? 4.) Another mundane question - with no force allowed / present: On the first floor are 3 switches. Each of them turns on / off a lightbulb in the cellar. You are to find out which of the 3 switches turns on which lightbulb. Since you are alone and lazy - what is the shortest way to figure this out? 5.) How often could Noah fish? 6.) You are sitting in a car, driving with a constant speed. To the left is an slope. On the right side is a fire engine. Close in front of you runs a pig bigger than your car. And an helicopter follows you at a distance of less than 4 feet at ground level. What do you do, to escape this situation safely? 7.) A couple comes home after a long visit of a theatre, with a shock they see broken glass pieces and water on the floor after they enter the living room and know immediately that Frank is dead. Who is Frank and what happened? 8.) A wanderer crosses the desert and sees 2 Bedouins sitting next to their camels on a dune. He asks them why they are sitting there. One of them answers: "We found a huge gold nugget and couldn't decide who should get it. So we made a deal.. The owner of the camel which will go as the last one to the oasis nearby there will get the nugget." Suddenly one of the Bedouins jumps up, quickly mounts the camel and rides to the oasis. And he also did win the nugget. How did he do this? 9.) A painter of a dockyard is called to a ship in a haven to pain its hull. A ladder is thrown over the railing so the painter can stand on it while painting the hull. The lowest step of the ladder is 16 inches away from the water surface. The highest step of the ladder is 30 inches away from the deck. Each step of the ladder is about 9 inches apart. Each step is 1 inch thick. The ladder has 14 steps. Since the haven is not enclosed by a watergate and it is ebb tide, the water rises about 8 inches an hour. After 5 hours the painter is still painting the hull, but how many steps did he have to climb due to the rising water in order not to get wet shoes? 10.) How much soil is in a 16 feet x 16 feet x 16 feet hole in the ground?
