Since the advent of video games, players have invented challenges to test themselves and other players, and to get a little extra
mileage out of their games. This aspect was finally recognized in 2008 when Sony introduced trophies and achievements for their
games. As with many players, I have always enjoyed finding and trying out what else I can challenge myself, and to find what little
easter eggs the developers put into the games.
For this competition, it is all about observation and memory. I know that not everyone has played both versions of this game, So instead of lumping all of the questions together, I have streamlined and divided the thirty questions of this competition into three sections with ten questions each.
I should also clarify in case there is any confusion. This is a single completion, not three competitions. The sections are only there to show what you might expect in difficulty. Which is as follows:
Easy: This section's difficulty is based on the level of a player who may not have played the game, or it is their first time. There might be a question or two that might not be so simple. But most of the answers can be found rather quickly on the internet.
Medium: This section's difficulty is based on the level of a player who has logged several hours playing this game. It will require some knowledge about the game. Again there might be a question or two that prove to be a little harder. But most of the information is readily available on the internet.
Hard: This section's difficulty is based on the level of a player who may have played both games and has done a lot of in-game exploring as well. There are a few questions that could prove to be surprisingly simple.
There are also two bonus questions as well, but they are completely optional if you wish to answer them or not. And don't worry, both questions are not spoilers. The answer to the first question has been completed by players since 1996. While the answer to the second question can help you out if you are a completionist and have missed a few entries in the Monster List section of your journal.
If you have any questions or problems, please email me, and I will try to get back to you.
Please do not subscribe until you are ready! You will be judged on accuracy and response time, based on when you subscribed and your final submission time. You will only see the clues upon subscription, so make sure to subscribe only when you are fully prepared to start. Ties will be broken by comparing both the time it took to subscribe and the time it took to submit. And best of luck to all
