The large figure towered over furniture as he danced around the office in a surprisingly nimble fashion, grabbing files and items left and right and shoving them into a carrying case sat on the desk. A young female Chiss stood against a wall, taking notes on a datapad as the elderly being kept passing along instructions and guidelines.

“Now, I’ll only be gone for today…oh and most of tomorrow, maybe the day after as well.”

Turning left, the Neti grabbed a collapsible telescope.

“I should be done with my meetings with the Consul by early evening, then find a good courtyard at the top of the citadel, take root, drink some water, and be ready in order to enjoy the show. Then the next day, I have a morning meeting with the Proconsul, after which I’ll swing by the archives before coming back here.”

Taking note of the rising worry exuding from his second, the Elder stopped moving.

“Zosi'val'ria, you are ready for this. Don’t worry, you’ll do fine! Now, go sit behind the desk and realise you’re in charge! Make sure to monitor that passing starliner and keep in touch with the Expeditionary Force, the Defense Force, and our own forces. The security of Dajorra is paramount and I’m not liking this cruise ship moving through our territory without us knowing exactly who is involved in it, or even who is on board…”

Grabbing his bag, the Galeres Quaestor began to march towards the hangar bay.

“I hope we’re ready to get going, I have things to do!” Ood Bnar stated as he strode into the hangar bay.

Behind him, footsteps began to echo as someone appeared to be running towards the hangar.

Sliding into the room, the Chiss managed to gasp out a few words as she struggled to regain her breath, “Boss … trip cancelled … bad …”

“What do you mean, of course I’m going, the Dajorra Star storm hasn’t happened in over 250 year. I’m going to watch that meteor shower! Why else did I postpone my meetings for weeks and fake technical difficulties to force them to happen in person?” the Jedi bit out.

Having regained her bearings, the Aedile stood upright again, facing her boss, “When you left, fleet command called it in sir. The Starliner went off course for some reason. The meteor shower rammed itself into its flank. The ship went down somewhere on Gethsemane, Command is asking us to assemble and secure the wreckage. Mostly to get a look at some of those state of the art systems but also to minimize the environmental impact.”

“So I can’t go to the Citadel to watch the meteor shower?”

“No sir, the Dajorra Star Storm ceased to exist about 19 minutes ago, when it rammed itself through a cruise liner’s shields, and outer hull.”

With a sigh, the Neti threw his bag at a droid, “Take that back to my office!” Looking his second in the eyes, the orders began to flow, “Sound the alarms, assemble the House in the main hall, we’ll start preparations to head for Gethsemane immediately!”

“Yes sir!”

Placement and scoring:

• 1st place = 5 points

• 3rd place = 3 points
  
• 4th place = 2 points
  
• all other places = 1 point
  At end of all subcompetitions, the points will be counted and medals awarded. Ties will be broken by number of adding up the placements and lowest wins (so 1st place + 2nd place = 3 and beats 1st place + 3rd place)
