As outlined in the recent House Fiction, the representatives of House Qel-Droma are hosting an Ambassadorial ball in the capital of Wispor II, Hamartia City.

The event is full of nobles, representatives, magnates, aristocrats, and of course spies. Lots and lots of spies. As the wine flows and Tali and Sagitta rub elbows with the hobnobs, You have a special mission:

1. Best Foot Forward
   You are the face of Qel-Droma in this new land. We need allies, and you, for better or worse, have been tasked with acquiring some. There are plenty of nobles, power brokers, politicians, and industrialists abound, surely you can help butter one up and make them see the appeal of aiding Qel-Droma in the plight against the Besadii Clan? Oh, just make sure the person you're talking to is actually sincere, we wouldn't want to let a Hutt-aligned double-agent to slip into our midst, now would we?

2. Counter-sabotage
   While doing the rounds as part of our covert security detail, you notice something off. One of the partygoers seems suspicious. More than the usual amount. You decide to look into them and realize they are in fact an agent, and they've been working hard all night to ruin the party—and by extension Qel-Droma's good reputation! Who are they working for? The Hutts? The Severians? The Wisporians? Maybe even the Children of Mortis, Ashla forbid! Whatever their alignment, they must be stopped!

3. Sizing up the Oppostion
   There are friends, foes, and all in between invited. This is on purpose. Not only to maintain a veneer of respectability as nothing more than a friendly diplomatic overture between House Huyn and Arcona, but also to let us size up our enemies. Seek out at least a trio of suspicious characters and detail their suspicious behavior. Who do they seem aligned with? What is their position on Wispor? And if you can find any compromising details about them that we can exploit, all the better! (This is a Fiction-flavored "Create an NPC" -option, so the characters you detail may be used in future House Fictions.)
