If there's one thing we all hate, it's starship trouble. Write me a story about a time when one of your characters experiences unexpected trouble with either their own ship or a ship that they were aboard and how they dealt with it. Droid brain autopilot broken? Malfunctioning hyperdrive generator? This can be mundane or an epic tale of survival in deep space; you can choose!

Entries will be judged by the Fiction Rubric 3.0. In the event of a tie, I'll decide based on the story that I find the most entertaining. Your entry must be at least 500 words, with no upper limit. Entries must be submitted in .doc, .docx, or .pdf format and uploaded to the site.

No snapshot is required for the character you choose to use. You may also include other characters or NPCs if you so desire.
