[Phase 1] Consular Conclave Restructure: Design the NPC - Consular Healer

Phase #1

Restructure:

The Restructure and Preparation of Odan-Urr's Consular Conclave

The Breakdown:

Odan-Urr's Jedi Consulars cover a multitude of additional combat support and non-combat roles, while quite capable in battle, their true focus lies in the framework surrounding the risks of outright war. Often acting as ambassadors, intelligence operatives supporting SeNet, or Healers manning various outposts throughout the system. Consulars typically act in a peacekeeping role, more akin to the Jedi Order before the Galactic Civil War, but with a far wider range of specialists and individuals assembled within their ranks.

Consulars work to prevent bloodshed, and when it is inevitable they ensure that more militant forces are left to focus where they are needed most. Their researchers and archivists serve to keep the clan’s hierarchy updated on a variety of matters that fall under their purview, while also examining findings, new and old, recovered by field operatives.

Beyond their frontline roles, a number of the Consular Conclave work behind the scenes, focusing in particular on tackling more esoteric threats and situations that might arise. Surrounded by a multitude of Clans with members aligned with the Dark Side, and a wealth of relics left over from wars between the Jedi and Sith across the galaxy, they are often tasked with investigating situations of a sorcerous nature. Guarding and identifying items from lost eras, they work to limit the threat that leftover weapons from the ancient Sith Wars might pose or the risk of other powers adding relics to their arsenals.

The Competition:

Consular Healers are Odan-Urr's dedicated healers within the Jedi Order. Jedi Knights who chose to advance in the ways of the healing art taught to all Jedi, who felt the call to preserve life, instead of take it, were often those who chose to continue studying as a Jedi Consular, and found themselves within the Circle of Jedi Healers and Medical Corps.

The Jedi Temple has begun preparations to deploy assets to Quermia, the selection of potential candidates has begun with the selection of a trustworthy Sage to lead their select Consular Forces has begun reviewing the dossiers of available prospects, looking for those with respectable credentials to be utilized in the field.

The competition is to help supply us with the relevant information in those dossiers to establish the characters going forward in this Campaign and to build a roster available for all future fiction!

  • Entries will be graded based on the depth of character design, how organic their histories come off to the grader, as well as incorporating the standard grading metrics found in the Fiction Grading Rubric.
  • Placing contestants will have their characters added as NPCs as Consular Healer in the Consular Conclave.
  • Submissions should be in .PDF or .gdoc formats
