Phase #1
Odan-Urr's Jedi Consulars cover a multitude of additional combat support and non-combat roles, while quite capable in battle, their true focus lies in the framework surrounding the risks of outright war. Often acting as ambassadors, intelligence operatives supporting SeNet, or Healers manning various outposts throughout the system. Consulars typically act in a peacekeeping role, more akin to the Jedi Order before the Galactic Civil War, but with a far wider range of specialists and individuals assembled within their ranks.
Consulars work to prevent bloodshed, and when it is inevitable they ensure that more militant forces are left to focus where they are needed most. Their researchers and archivists serve to keep the clan’s hierarchy updated on a variety of matters that fall under their purview, while also examining findings, new and old, recovered by field operatives.
Beyond their frontline roles, a number of the Consular Conclave work behind the scenes, focusing in particular on tackling more esoteric threats and situations that might arise. Surrounded by a multitude of Clans with members aligned with the Dark Side, and a wealth of relics left over from wars between the Jedi and Sith across the galaxy, they are often tasked with investigating situations of a sorcerous nature. Guarding and identifying items from lost eras, they work to limit the threat that leftover weapons from the ancient Sith Wars might pose or the risk of other powers adding relics to their arsenals.
While non-combatants by nature, even Jedi Consulars must be ready to defend themselves when conflict comes to them. Ahead of the pending mission to Quermia, it has been asked that all hands review basic training manuals.
