The Breakdown:

Often recruiting Knights whose first instinct is to protect those in need, reformed in 39 ABY, the Guardian Corps. were reborn in a prosperous age for Odan-Urr. Using their resources to protect those in need while mainly concentrating on martial training and combat, the Jedi Guardians engage in combat more than their compatriots in the Jedi Temple. Tracing their lineage back to the Order's founders on Tython, defenders of the weak who upheld the Galactic Republic through its fall, Guardians are seen as representatives of the Jedi, and well known for their use of the lightsaber.

The History of Odan-Urr's Guardian Corps. is storied, born of contention with their compatriots within the Temple, the Guardian Corps. initially began as a defensive force built between the O.E.F. (The Precursor to the modernized Odan-Urr Space Command Armed Force), Okami Mandalorians, and Tython Squadron, before peaceful times saw those without connections to the Temple return to their daily lives or to postings among the O.U.S.C. in the wake of their immediate urgency. Now, after years of peace time, the Guardian Corps. has trained a new generation of Guardians to rise to the occasion, and serve the Galaxy as their predecessors once had.

The Competition:

Guardian Peacekeepers are specialists in the art of combat and act as police throughout the Nilgaard Sector and its neighbors, ensuring that laws are enforced throughout their sector of the Outer Rim. Ostensibly the most recognizable of the Guardian Corps, Peacekeepers often serve alongside Sector police, local militias, and governmental bodies to ensure peace is kept amongst the stars.

The Jedi Temple has begun preparations to deploy assets to Quermia, the selection of potential candidates has begun with the selection of a trustworthy Battlemaster to lead their select Guardian Forces has begun reviewing the dossiers of available prospects, looking for those with respectable credentials to be utilized in the field.

The competition is to help supply us with the relevant information in those dossiers to establish the characters going forward in this Campaign and to build a roster available for all future fiction!

  • Entries will be graded based on the depth of character design, how organic their histories come off to the grader, as well as incorporating the standard grading metrics found in the Fiction Grading Rubric.
  • Placing contestants will have their characters added as NPCs as Guardian Peacekeepers in the Guardian Corps..
  • Submissions should be in .PDF or .gdoc formats
