The cavern Kauit had lived in and rested in cryostasis for centuries until waking up almost three years ago now. What do your characters see upon descending into the Den, the home of the final ‘Selenian God’?

Possible Details to Describe:

• Terrain, geography: what does this massive cave look like? Is it part of a network of caves? Other tunnels/access points? Does the ocean tide wash into it? How’s the lighting of the area? Sunlight? Bioluminescent fauna/flora? Torches?
• Nature: any vegetation or creatures? Kauit had kept a few caxqettes with them when they went into stasis, then Alla’su retrieved them when she woke the Fosh. What signs are there from their past presence if any?
• Structures, layout: Did Kauit have anything built in there? Where did their cryochamber reside?
• Signs of Living past & present: what remains from when Kauit lived here centuries ago? Anything survive? What things are more recent additions?

Information on the island of Aytambawanchac and the King’s Den

Aytambawanchac

A barren plateau of an island North of the main three Tri’Aigul Islands, named after their people’s believed King of the spirits whom Kauit had acted as the voice of centuries ago, taking advantage of their tropical colored feathers relating to the spirit. Ancient stone sketches depicting the King and the other spirits, their tales, lead the pathway from the high cliff lined shores, over the rocky land to a large hole in the island referred to as the King’s Den in basic. A seemingly bottomless pit that opens up into a cavern deep within Aytambawanchac. This is where Kauit had once taken up residence and preached their visions from the mouth of, and where they still sit now waiting.

This does count as a Fiction comp in regards to the multiplier for the event. Entries must be a minimum of 250 words describing the location. Please submit as a PDF only.

Entries will be graded loosely based of the Fiction Grading Rubric 3.0 with:

• Ambiance/Quality of Details replacing Story (40%)
• Realism to the Star Wars setting, Kauit, and the island geography (30%)
• Creativity (15%)
• Syntax (15%)
• Ties will be broken by organizers’ preference.
