Wiki maintenance templates: those fun, premade banners you put at the top of your article to warn readers that you know it's trash and will totally come back to clean it up. Eventually. Maybe next year.

Although {{Construction}} and {{Clanimprove}} are the best known, we have a diverse assortment of vaguely Star Wars-themed templates you can slap at the top of an article to explain why it's bad instead of doing anything useful to improve it. There's I can't read all of this, please add pictures! There's Wait, no, I take it back! There's this is bad, there's I can't tell but I think this is bad?, and there's I know this is bad, I'm sorry, I'm really trying I promise. There's Not enough links, Too many links, and Ok, but something has to link here, too.

For this competition, you will be making your own maintenance template to let everyone know what you think of certain wiki pages.

How to Enter

Make a wiki template and place it in the category Category:Fake maintenance templates. You can see an example here.

Not sure how to do that? The subscriber details have the wikitext for my example template. Just go to Template:YourTemplateNameHere on DBWiki, click the big red link saying Create the page "Template:Whatever" on this wiki!, and copy/paste the example in the subscriber details. Then tweak the image, heading, and message fields until it looks good enough.

You don't have to subscribe or submit anything to this comp. Only entries in the Fake maintenance templates category on the wiki will be considered valid entries. As long as your entry is in that category, you don't have to do anything else.

Scoring

I'll share them all in DC chat and we'll laugh at them and then I will hand out crescents based on how much I like them. Ties will be broken by making Howie pick. That dude frickin' loves breaking ties. Be funny, don't be too much of a jerk, and make me sad to delete it when the competition is over.
