The quest to Masterhood is unobtainable without your team of loyal pocket monsters! Who is on your roster?

Rules

List 6 Pokemon your character would have on their team based on their character sheet build and personality or character motifs. Explain why you selected those Pokemon and why they fit your character.

Please mention which character you are building this team for. Preferably use your sheeted main/alt/npc or a wiki character. Other npcs are welcome, but note that they may score lower due to less referenceable material for judging.

  • Entries must be submitted in .doc, .pdf, .txt format, or by using the competition text submission box. No GoogleDoc links, please.

Grading

  • Grading will be based on creativity, thoughtfulness to the prompt/character/Pokemon and how well it fits. Ties based on grader’s preference.

Zuser’s Pokemon Team

Shiny Magneton; name given, Aurum (latin for gold)
Zuser’s understanding of the droid language Binary would help him understand his starter pokemon. Aurum’s electric typing would also match and play into his affinity for Force Lightning.

Marowak; name given, Bash
Similar to Marowak, Zuser also lost his parents at a very young age and it took a while for him to get over it.

Houndoom; name given, Obsidian
Nodding to Zuser’s Dark Side nature, a literal hellhound would not go unmissed.

Primape; name given, Howler
One of the only Pokemon who could match Zuser’s rage-induced, fierce and aggressive fighting style.

Noivern; name given, Echo
Zuser’s favorite thing to do is fly, so having a large, rideable flying Pokemon is a must.

Doublade; name given, Menace
Zuser is a twinblade lightsaber user, and the purple accents on the Pokemon matches his purple lightsabers.

Roster:

Metagross - As a SteelPsychic Type, Metagross is a perfect match for Aiden’s strengths.
Lucario - Lucario is known for its focus on Aura, and represents the Lightside in Aiden.
Galade - A Psychic type with bladed arms…self explanatory.
Ceruledge - While not a type fit for Aiden, the duel blade arms and ghostly appearance are a match for him.
Aegislash - Sentient weapons that can switch from defense and offensive combat, a perfect match for Aiden.
Absol - Aiden's darkness, as well as a match for his Cythraul.

Jax's Roster:
* Lucario - attracted to bravery and taking charge, makes sense with Jax's leadership and personality
* Aerodactyl - something of a fossil, and difficult to control, Jax could earn its respect and probably found it on some archeology or anthropology trip
* Jigglypuff - loves to talk and socialize as much as Jax does, hand either of them a microphone
* Charmeleon - arson, enough said. Two fire starters. They'd like to set off explosions together.
* Sudowodo - they're a walking pun, he'd love this thing.
* Alakazam - studious and serious, capable of deep thought, mind as their weapon, another fitting match for Jax
