Unfortunately, for some, no kissing will be required under the riddle-toad. Instead a bunch of riddles will be given, and if not answered correctly the toad shall curse you for the new year!
Oh oh, you stood under him!
Riddle 1: I am white with white, wrapped in red with black and white.
Riddle 2: I am Red ahead and brown behind.
Riddle 3: I bring cheer when i am right, unwanted when i am wrong.
Riddle 4: What tastes good when hot and almost as good cold. But best served hot on a merry day.
Riddle 5: I follow the day of a birth.
Riddle 6: I come before the day of a birth.
Riddle 7: I sit up high, above treasures, but i am too high to see them.
Riddle 8: I am a visible white and seen above when caught by surprise, but i do not catch you by surprise.
Riddle 9: I am planted, covered in colours, i shade the magic that brings morning happiness.
Riddle 10: I make everything close, and keep people inside. Money is spent on me, but I return twice as much in joy.
