The Bribe Rewards:
The What:
#Inktober (Darktober in DB!) is an international phenomenon, a tradition of a month of drawing prompts for October at the rate of one a day for 31 days. We're going to do a few more days in between for my own sanity (and maybe yours). During Inktober though, five in a row is my best, how many can you do in a row?
Same rules as last year apply: Fun, quick, easy! Let's get into the spirit of the spooky season!
Simple, quick gestures are all you need. The point is to get a drawing tool in your hand and use it without worry of hours of preparation, drawing and rendering. You may use AI references but these are your interpretations, and your creativity! Draw outside of the box!
By all means explain your drawing in the comment box if you like, especially if abstract. You are encouraged to leave it public if PG13, but stick to the basic maturity rules though. If a commissioned artist would likely charge you extra for that, maybe not send that in. K?
But I have a big ask. Inktober is all about the art community. Would you mind posting your entry in the #art-chat tagged as #darktober in discord? It doesn't matter if you spend 5 minutes or an hour - be proud that you did it, and show your support for others that may also be shy.
The Rules:
* Simple gesture is acceptable (no stick figures today)
* No commitment to all just to participate in parent comp
* Prompts below are for those days only, use your time wisely
* Traditional or digital, ink not required
* AI for reference only
* Just have fun!
The Scoring:
* No harsh judging, the spirit of DT is fun and community.
* We will use the Rubric for placement
* Participation grants one point. Placement grants 4 points for 1st, 3 for 2nd, 2 for 3rd
* Most points at the end of the month will win Level 1 awards
* Ties will be broken by number of competitions entered followed by number of each type of placement
* 1st place will receive their own drawn Chibi 🤩
* Did I mention DOUBLE CLUSTERS?!
