Fear.

Be it something specific, like the primordial fear of biting insects or slithering reptiles or nebulous terrors like the finality of the grave or the dread of being forgotten, everyone fears something. Exactly what that is for your character might have been born out of a terrifying experience or just learned over the course of a lifetime.

What does your character fear? Why? How did it come to that, and how do they manage life in spite of that fear? Plumb the depths of fear, so that you may master it.

Rules:

+ Entries should be a minimum of 500 words, no maximum.
