[Life Day Celebration III] Item Upgrade Prototype Creation

Objective

Develop an innovative prototype upgrade for our system. This upgrade can apply to any item type currently eligible for enhancements, including weapons, armor, droids, ships, speeders, and even member corvettes. The possibilities for upgrading are limitless—let’s see what you can come up with.

Although there is no guarantee that an item will be selected by the Regent Staff for inclusion in the possessions system, entries that meet the established criteria and demonstrate exceptional quality may be considered for adoption.

Rules

Submissions are recommended to make use of at least part of the Item Prototype Approval Policy requirements as they will be used for grading, but it is not mandatory for participation:
- Item Name: Name of the prototype
- Item Image: An image representation of the item
- Proposed Rarity: Epic or Legendary
- Item Description: A full description of the item, it is recommended participants look at existing item prototypes of the same type/category as the item they are writing to match the language.

Grading

Entries will be graded on the following:

Adherence to the Item Prototype Approval Policy/Creation of a full and detailed prototype - 50%
Creativity - 20%
Realism - 20%
Spelling/Grammar of entry - 10%

A laser beam projector is a specialized countermeasure. It can be used to slice through enemy ships in close range, destroying them in the process. A laser beam utilizes a high-powered projector to deploy a short-range sustained and stable laser bolt similar in behaviour to a lightsaber, which would slice through anything it came in contact with instantly destroying it in the process. Two of these devices are used for maximum effectiveness, one on the port and one on the starboard side. The weapons take relatively long to charge, making them unsuitable for fast-paced combat.

Description: This vessel has been fitted with a miniaturized gravity projection device called an Interdiction Snare, which can project a localized gravity well that prevents the activation of nearby ships' hyperdrives, including that of the vessel using the device.
