The lab smelled of burnt flesh and fresh blood. Two creatures poked and prodded at a dissected carcass, their buggy eyes flitting over the work as surgical instruments flew wild. A click and the room was bathed in light. The two creatures were revealed as just two creatures in full biohazard suits both of who slowly turned their heads and glared. The intern who had flipped the lightswitch quailed under the gaze.

"Turn it off then get out." Titius hissed from behind his mask.

*Or get on the table* came a telepathic attack. Nochiceptar indicated another flat surface behind them with a long probe.

The intern smashed the lightswitch to pieces in their haste and slammed the door half off its hinges. As darkness once again covered the lab, Titius grumbled.

"What about *Do not disturb* do they not understand?" Titius handed a grisly section of entrail over.

"At least they got the message, though I am now slightly blind. But let us continue." Noc'i'cheptar moved the entrails to a specimen container.

Both creatures huddled back over the carcass, the smell of blood and burnt flesh rising once again.
