Competition: I, Spy (Fiction)

Prompt:

You are trying to find out what's going on during the Republic Games. Who does the Supreme Chancellor meet? What is he trying to achieve? Did he bribe the military? Is the event a cover for secret meetings?

Rules:

Using one of your sheeted characters, write a fiction where you investigate what's going on. The games are the backdrop, the Colosseum the venue. Ood will be in the Chancellor's box or visiting dignitaries during the events. How will you go about finding out what's going on?
