Sit-Rep

R’aoke Adebanyo is an elusive mercenary hired by the Collective to destabilize trade operations on the planet Koboh. While the planet had once been rich with priorite, other minerals valuable to production were found and new operations for mining were established with the help of the Brotherhood and Severian Principate joint efforts. R’aoke has holed himself up in a stronghold high up in the mountains, shielded by his band of mercenaries and raiders.

All Envoy strike teams have been granted clearance and tasked with ELIMINATING R’aoke to return stability to the Brotherhoods trade, networking, and commerce with the local mining guild.

Objective

Members will form small teams and designate one member to be the leader. The leader is simply responsible for creating, finalizing, and submitting the session to the competition text entry box. They are not expected to be the DM unless they want to.

Your RP's story does not have to be complete to qualify. It can be as short as 1 post of 100 words from each participant, or multiple long-worded posts. Obviously those that pursue a fully completed story will place higher than those that do not. The goal, however, is to tell a cooperative story with your team before the end of the competition on 02/27/2025.

Participants are welcome to use a dice-based system of their choosing in their OOC thread to help with narrative decision making. It is not required, though.

Additionally, a pre-made Google Slides module was created to help anyone who enjoys a visual component to their writing or to make the RP feel more like tabletop. You can view the Bounty 006 Module and make a copy for use with your own team in your OOC thread! It is not required to be used in order to participate or enter.

How To Participate

• One member of the team will create an RP using the /rp create function on Discord.
• Teams must have a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 3 members.
  
• Each Team’s RP must be named using the following convention: “Team Name - [Envoy Corps]” where “Team Name” is a unique name for your group, but can be anything you want. It could be as creative as Pink Pony Club or it could be as simple as Team 1.
• Members must post a minimum of 100 words for participation credit. Any words short of this will still count towards future Envoy Marks and CIs, however.
• Posts may be edited or deleted at any time, but doing so may disrupt the flow of the run on and negatively impact your Team’s score.
  
• RPs will be processed as “DM-less”, meaning all members involved will be given credit towards the RP Player trophy. as well as CIs, Credits, and XP.
• Snapshots are not required, but are advised for Characters that have a Character Sheets and Loadouts to help with the storytelling process.
• You are free to write and create as many NPCs as you’d like.

How To Submit

• When the RP is completed, the person who started it (Leader) needs to press the “Finalize Session” button. This will generate a HTML url (example: https://discord.djb.club/rp-sessions/jrR.html)
  
• At least one member must submit the team name and list of members in the text submission box below, and include the HTML url of the finalized RP.
• ALL RPS MUST BE FINALIZED BY Thursday, February 27th, 2025 site-reset time when the competition closes.

Grading

• Placement will be determined by the judges preference of the submitted cooperative story, with a focus on teamwork, creativity, easy readability, and adherence to Star Wars lore and Brotherhood systems.
• The winning team’s story will become “Canon” and tracked on the Envoy Corps Bounty Board on the wiki (with consent from the team).
• Feedback will be provided for each participating team by at least one of the graders.
