Most people live their lives connected to others in some way. There's usually that one person who you would do anything for. That person can be your greatest strength, or your greatest weakness. There are ties that bind us to other people-- friends, lovers, family members.

Write how those ties affect your character. You can talk about what would happen if one of those ties were threatened, or how they could be used against your character. Even if your character is a resolute loner, why? What happened to drive them to stay away from all such ties.
