Haikus are short, yet powerful. Able to convey emotion, create a visual or even tell a story in three simple lines.

Write a haiku about change and growth.

Haikus are poems written with words containing 5 syllables in the first line, 7 syllables in the next line and 5 syllables for the last line.

Poems will be graded based on staying to the structure of the poem (50%), creativity (30%) and adherence to the theme (20%). Ties will be broken based on creativity score.
