You may have been a pilot, a warrior, a scholar, or a politician, but thanks to a letter (made from ancient paper no less!) you are now the owner of a farm. Arriving to your new home, you find it messy and grown over with age, and located in a town you have never seen before.

Either write a story of your character receiving and reacting to the letter, or during their first few days tending their new farm.

• Entries will be judged by the Fiction Rubric 3.0.
• In the event of a tie, we'll decide based on the story that we find the most entertaining.
• Your entry must be at least 500 words, with no upper limit.
• Entries must be submitted in .pdf format and uploaded to the site.
• Sheeted characters only.

Make sure to attach the snapshot of you is required for the character you choose to use. Other characters and NPCs are encouraged as long as the story pivots around your sheeted character.
