It's that time again- time for me to choose a Black Guard to cover my back.

For this competition, I want you to write me a brief story about an assassination attempt on my life and how you personally manage to stop it and save me from being killed or injured. You can write as much or as little as you want for this, although the absolute minimum would be a page long.

The top three entries will receive third-level Crescents, and the winner will become my Black Guard, which has it's own fictional perks! :D

The deadline for stories is the 30th of December, since I'd like to announce my new Black Guard on January the 1st.
