"Twilight is upon me, soon night must fall"
After years and years of trials and tribulations, victories and failures, your character's life has come to an end. Write a short story of your character reflecting on his or her life as they pass.
How do you foresee your character dying? Do you die of old age or in a climatic battle? Do you return to the light or are you bitter to the end? Are you content to pass on or do you, like so many, try to find ways to live forever? Are you proud of your accomplishments or do you lament the life you wasted?
Although this will be in the form of a prose narrative, I want to see poetic story telling. Think Greek tragedy, irony, etc. As well, focus more on your character's reflections rather than the actual death event itself.
Written Fiction. Any file format. Minimum one page, 12 TNR, single spaced.
