Salas V has remained bare outside of the spaceports and small settlements until now. Original discussion in the city governments have proposed opening new land to colonists - specifically, 200,000 colonists who will be arriving on Salas V for resettlement. Normally, we wouldn't bother interfering in the affairs of the planet, but we have a grave issue at hand.
The land slated for colonization encroaches on our safehouse facility at Epsilon Oros and risks unwanted exposure of our existence. Our solution requires the dedication of one individual. A plan needs to be drafted and presented to encourage the settling groups into an unoccupied area of the planet. The developer will need to retain a public identity on Salas V for the duration of public discussion and engage the colonist community. We will provide a way to disengage from public activity on Salas V if desired; otherwise, the architect will play an integral part of the community and have considerable reputation and authority in the area.
Submissions of designs, blueprints, etc. will be accepted from applicants before we take further action.
OOC: Design a settlement suitable for 200,000 settlers (you pick the settler demographics) and submit your entry in whichever format suits you best. Consider specifically methods of transit, housing, and power supply. Descriptive writing, sketches, and/or graphics are acceptable - a combination of writing and imagery might help you describe your ideas fully. Credit any source materials used. Include your name and ID number in the submission email and the submission.
Submissions will be judged by PRT James Roberts-Brannigan and must be sent to PRT Roberts-Brannigan and the House Summit. 4th Level Crescents will be awarded, and the winner's submission will become House canon.
