The Tu Union, a criminal organization long opposed to the reigning Grardella Syndicate, has recently been running spice and other illicit goods to the Hutts' clients for lower prices. Enraged, Grardella the Hutt has contracted Garm Bessek, Mandalorian mercenary and Plagueian fugitive, and his fellow mercs within the group Arpat Akaan, to cripple these upstarts and force Tu to surrender their assets to the Syndicate. Bessek and his fellow Mando'ade have been happy to comply.
During a mission launched on intel from a spice dealer on Kapsina, Jusadih forces have organized the Atrum Pars II and several starfighter squadrons to intercept the Tu Union's spice smugglers. However, as they ensnare the Union's spice runners, the Mandalorians of Arpat Akaan arrive as well - seeking the same prize.
Before hostilities can break out, both sides are caught off guard; Tu Union enforcers arrive en masse, slamming the surprised Interdictor Cruiser and crippling her long-range communications while damaging her engines and shields. Combat breaks out between the three sides, a scenario that can only end with a badly-damaged capital ship and many lost fighters, when a hailing frequency comes over the ship's short-range communications array.
Bessek himself greets the viewing Dark Jedi with a simple question, the answer to which is obvious given the lethality of the Mando ships. "Are you with us, or against us?"
This Run-On Event will take place on the Plagueis Forum, and will be judged on realism, continuity, spelling and grammar, post length, and faithfulness to the storyline. Posters must have two posts of 250 words or more to count for participation. Garm Bessek must survive.
This mission is too dangerous for Journeymen, unless accompanied by their Masters. Knighted Plagueians only.
