Your first mission deals House Qel-Droma's shadowed past. Everyone knows we are named for the storied individual Ulic Qel-Droma. Few, though, can illuminate why we are so named. This is a man who went from being a Jedi, to a Warlord, then a Sith, and - so the stories tell - once more a Jedi. In the end, he exiled himself to a far-flung planet. Even there, however, he was sought out - and despite the fact that he had been cut off from the Force, he still managed to train Vima Sunrider who became a famous Jedi in her own right. None of this, however, answers the fundamental question of how House Qel-Droma came to be. What is the connection between us and this near-mythic figure? Can our House trace it's origins back to him, or are we named for him in homage of some deed he committed?

This is part one of a series of competitions being run within Arcona to completely remake the in-character history and culture of House Qel-Droma. Mission 1 was already completed (which is why I have an end date of today). I'll be submitting "Mission 2" as a competition immediately after this. There will be 8-10 Missions in all, each of them spanning 2 weeks. Participants are submitting either individually or in teams, with each Mission having a different topic.
