Competition Details: Participants will be paired against an opponent for two concurrent debates, once each on the affirmative and negative. After selecting from the three available topics, all participants will be given time to prepare their affirmative and negative cases for presentation and debate. The victor in each debate will be judged on the quality of their argumentation as outlined in the Shadow Academy Debate courses. Overall competition winners will be judged both on win/loss ratio as well as quality of argumentation.
