Judge Me by the Enemies I have Made

We all have our enemy, or enemies. Whether that enemy is someone else, a group, or even your own inner demons, characters are often defined by interactions with other people. One's enemies are no exception.

It was a cold, dark night on Yridia IX. On every corner, people talked about the government system - some like Tarentum, while others... don't. It doesn't matter anyway; Tarentum is in control, as it should be.

Saronyx is a woman that makes friends easily, though she's found it difficult to make any enemies. Walking around her home planet got her to thinking about the enemies she does have - what used to be the Yridian Kratocracy, the government system that tried rebelling but epically failed. They had trained Saronyx since she was five years old to be a master spy with specialization in infiltration and information-gathering. And while she loved her career choice, she didn't like her higher powers. They never cared for her. They used her to get the information, and nothing more than that.

They gave her orders to eliminate the leaders of Tarentum. But Saronyx saw more than a group of people when she laid eyes on her very first Tarenti. Instead of killing them, she joined them. Saronyx was by Tarentum's side as her whole childhood life was burned to the ground. She does not know to this day if any survived.

As she walked into a cantina on this cold, dark night, Saronyx noticed a figure in the corner of the building.
