"Know thy self, know thy enemy. A thousand battles, a thousand victories."
- Sun Tzu
The Jedi of Odan-Urr have descended upon New Tython to liberate it. In the streets of Vard Mislu, they take part in a battle that has ruined the very town; in Tanduran, they kill and die in scores, battling across acre and mile, sewing the fields with blood and death. Heroes rise; temptations rise up. What deeper truths about life will the Jedi gleam? What wondrous realizations will they have about life, liberty, and homeworld?
And of course, deep down, within themselves in the fog of war... what terrors await?
Write a poem, any verse you want. Show me how you feel on the ground; I want to feel the fear, touch the sweat as it breaks upon my brow. I want to smell smoke, hear explosions, taste my own blood on my lips, and see the carnage of war. Show me your inner self, and any truths you may have found. Show me how you feel about war.
Poetry, free-verse, no stanza limit.
