An urgent message has been received by a small colony of Mon Calamari on the continent of Kamuekiko. They have stated that they have been under guerrilla attacks by Harakoan tribes striking out from the rainforest to the north. They have asked assistance from the nearby wookiee colony of Gradrrbecca, however the wookiees have been bolstering their own defenses against these incursions. They cannot assist.

House Hoth has answered the call and Quaestor Seraphol has directed scouts to establish a military fort on a line north of the Mon Cal colony between them and the forest. Hoth will build the military base to serve as a defensive line to keep the colonists safe while attempting to find out the reasons why the natives are attacking. This base has been named Fort Pernicar in honor of the Jedi Master and friend of Lord Hoth.

You are to write about the founding of Fort Pernicar. The base is located on the eastern coast of Kamuekiko, 15km north of the Mon Cal colony and 5km south of the Rain forest edge. This is your chance to help build the foundation of House Hoth.

How did you find this location? What geographical details make it ideal for Hoth? What dangers are in the area? You are free to build this area of the world as you see fit.

You cannot reference that the QUA has told you where the base must be at. Only that you are scouting the area for said base. 500 word minimum, no maximum. Winners will receive Tier 4 Crescents, with first place being House Canon. Will be judged on standard fiction grading rubric.
