The City made home for Devil’s Shroud has become an icon of order, stability and symmetry, with their rooftops gleaming from the tropical sun. The city as a whole resembles a sphere, with the highest disc of buildings housing a flat area that is striped with highly visible paint and scattered with unused shuttles, air control equipment and fuel tanks. By night this are lights up with an amber glow, as a series of lights race down the disc in order to guide outgoing or incoming flights. Tall and skinny towers spike outwards and protect the outsides of the disc, always monitoring and commanding the busy flying zone.
One the disc surrounding and below this area, various sized buildings tower to just underneath the upper disc, dazzling with light and looking almost invisible as mirrored glass plates each different building.
At the most northern point of this spherical city is the Headquarters and the governmental zone, housing a big squared pyramid, cornered by four smaller pyramids at the corners. These smaller houses each had their own individual warbanners set at their doors, on giant flagpoles. A small tropical area surrounds the main courtyard which is patterned in a greek marble look, as thick walls extend upwards and into strong battlements with very artistic crenels that are holding mounted rifles.
The walls surrounding the city are a smooth and firm structure, built to withstand natural disasters and given a natural look to blend in with the rocky grounds. Anti-air turrets and ion cannons sit randomly around the walls in an effort to protect from air strikes and transport drops. As always the influence of the Force will be a constant reminder for this city, as a Temple sits in the dead centre of the spherical city, hidden in the middle of the high spaceport to act as a beacon of guidance for the denizens. Supported by giant columns, and artistic swirls across the steps and roof, the temple is highlighted in a granite stone. Scattered with glistening glass, the insides of the temple are always lit by the torches which lead visitors inside.
