Competition: Seeing Double

It is not uncommon for leaders of a government to employ body-doubles and deception to mask where they really are. The Brotherhood's echelon are no exception. One leader in particular has sent a body double to Yridia IX to hide a secret meeting with a Yridian businessman. In the mean time, the body double is visiting with the local Governor-General. However, the Governor-General's estate is suddenly attacked by an assassin, attempting to kill the body double, thinking it's the real person. The assassin must be caught.

OBJECTIVES:

• Serve as body double for for a member of the Tarentum summit using illusions or holograms
• Survive the assassination attempt
• Capture or neutralize assassin

In at least 500 words, write about the assassination attempt inside the Governor-General’s estate and the apprehension and interrogation of the assassin. The fiction grading rubric will be used to determine the winners, and Clusters of Ice will be awarded for word-count as well as Crescent’s for the top three placers.
