This RoS was a fairly new experience, in that we saw lots of younger members jumping into the Antei Combat Centre without having previously qualified or trained in that venue. I can only imagine how intimidating it must be to begin your career in the ACC fighting serious battles against serious opponents, instead of just a simple training or qualification match in which victory or loss doesn't matter. Gavin was one of those Journeymen who took the plunge and tried his hand at the ACC without former training. He took part in three battles, and while he only won one, that's unimportant; the determination it took to fight more experienced foes without any knowledge of the platform is enough to nominate him for reward.
